Always reliable drapes

This is my third time ordering from Half Price Drapes, and they didn't disappoint again. Got some velvet blackout drapes for the guest room, and the quality is just as good as the linen ones I bought last year. Shipping was pretty quick too, arrived in about a week. It's why I keep coming back.

Love my new drapes!

I just received my new floral drapes and I absolutely love them! They completely transformed my dining room. The colors are so vibrant and the fabric feels amazing. I was a bit worried about ordering online, but they look even better in person. I'm already planning my next order for the bedroom. You really can't go wrong here!

Solid experience, good value

I ordered a set of Belgian linen curtains for my living room. The fabric swatches arrived quickly, which really helped confirm my color choice. The ordering process online was straightforward, and I appreciated the detailed measuring guides. Shipping took about 8 days to get to my place in California, which was within their estimate. The curtains themselves are well-made; the stitching is clean, and the linen has a nice weight to it. I had a quick question about hanging the pinch pleat style, and customer service responded to my email within a day with helpful tips. Overall, I got a high-quality product for a decent price. Definitely happy with the purchase.

Got some new sheers

Needed some new sheer curtains for the bedroom, just to soften the light a bit. Found these on Half Price Drapes. They came pretty fast, like 6 days. The sheers look good, do the job without being too heavy. Thought they might feel a bit cheap for the price but they actually feel nice. Solid purchase.

Good blackout curtains

Ordered blackout curtains. They arrived on time. Good quality fabric. Block out light well. Would buy again.

Does anyone know if their first-order discount code works on custom stuff? Or is it just for regular, off-the-shelf drapes?

K Kevin C. 2 months ago

Nah, usually those first-time codes don't apply to custom orders. It's almost always in the fine print. You might get lucky if it's a general site-wide sale though.

i think most promos, especially the 'sign up for email' ones, explicitly exclude custom items. it's a bummer, but pretty standard for places that do bespoke work.

Hey, thinking about grabbing some blackout curtains for the bedroom. Are these usually sold as single panels or pairs? Just trying to figure out how many to order.

A Andre Nguyen 2 months ago

From what I remember, the ones I got last year were always sold as single panels. So if you need two, you gotta add two to your cart.

Yeah, pretty sure they're individual. Most drape sites do that so you can mix and match or get different widths for weird windows. Just double check the product description for whatever style you're looking at though.

What's their return policy like for custom stuff? Say I order a custom roman shade and it's not quite right. Am I stuck with it?

M Mark 2 months ago

Custom orders are usually final sale everywhere, and I'm pretty sure it's the same here. You really gotta be precise with your measurements and check the swatches before you commit.

T Troy 2 months ago

Yeah, with custom items, they usually don't do returns unless there's a defect or something on their end. It's a risk with anything made-to-order. Best to order swatches first to make sure you like the fabric and color.

Anyone ordered custom curtains from here before? Wondering about the shipping time to California. Need them before a family visit next month.

O Omar Walsh 1 month ago

Custom stuff usually takes longer. I ordered some last fall, and it was like 3-4 weeks to get to me in Sacramento. Definitely not a quick ship item.

Mine took closer to a month and a half for custom velvet drapes, also to Cali. Factor in a good amount of lead time, like a solid 4-6 weeks to be safe.

Are Half Price Drapes actually good quality? The prices seem really low for some of the fabrics, makes me a bit skeptical.

E Emma 1 month ago

I was worried too, but honestly, I've been really impressed. Got some linen ones a year ago and they feel super high-end, definitely not cheap. Great value.

Totally legit. I think they just cut out a lot of the middleman stuff that other fancy stores have, which keeps the prices down. I've bought silk and velvet from them, both are awesome.

Anyone know if you can use more than one coupon code at a time? Got a sign up discount and saw another one pop up for free shipping.

P Paula J. 2 months ago

Nope, usually only one code allowed per order. Most sites are like that, Half Price Drapes included.

D David N. 2 months ago

I tried that once, hoping to stack a percentage off with free shipping, but it wouldn't let me. Had to pick one. The system only takes one code at checkout.
